Wonderfully written article...if you're looking for any inspiration in the time being, and haven't yet found it yourself, check out http://lemonademovie.com, a film about unemployment and how you can make something great from it.

Good luck to you...I hope your search pays off soon!

This is an important subject, and actually the first thing I've read word for word in several issues. Great job writing it, and good choice to include in the magazine. I want to see the follow up in a few months.

When I lost my job 8 months ago I had to sell a lot of things I "loved" - like my pool table (craigslist for $400) and my wife's gold stuff (<a href="http://www.goldgive.com" rel="nofollow">goldgive.com</a>).

It was a hard thing to do as it was like some kind of admission defeat. We ended up using some of the money to start a small business (and I mean a MICRO sized business). But its made us a few dollars and then a few more and a few more. Now we live off it.

I realized that the good thing about being an entrepreneur is that you are never unemployed. Of course the other side is that you may not be paid either!
