Chris Ryan (Geog, Soc’97) captured these boys playing in Durbar Square in Katmandu, Nepal, in April 2002. “I loved how happy and carefree they seemed, despite their ragged clothing. Traveling always reminds me that once you have the basics, you don’t really need anything else to be happy in life.
