Talley swings through to fifth in Big 12

Sophomore Emily Talley finished fifth in the Big 12 Women’s Golf Championships, tying for the second-best Big 12 showing ever by a CU female golfer. The only better performance by a Buff was a fourth place by Sarah Bellinger Woods (Acct’01) in 1999.

As a team, the Buffs finished sixth in the conference meet to conclude their season.

CU men wrapped up their year with a ninth-place showing in the Big 12 tournament.

Meanwhile, CU women’s assistant coach Brent Franklin, a standout in Canadian golf during the 1980s, will be inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame this summer.
