Guard Xavier Johnson (Comm’16) tore his left Achilles tendon during off-season workouts and may miss the entire 2015-16 men’s basketball season. Johnson, who averages 10.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, had surgery in June, but there is no definitive timetable for his return. … Erin Clark (IntPhys’18) was named the Pac-12 Conference women’s track and field Freshman of the Year in May. … Two CU-Boulder alums returned to the university this summer as assistant coaches. Annie Brunner (Mgmt’14) will be coordinator of performance analysis and camp operations for women’s soccer, and Patrick Grady (Fin’09) will be an assistant on the men’s golf team. … Lexy Kresl (IntPhys’15) and Brittany Wilson (Soc’14), who played three seasons together in Boulder, signed one-year contracts with Swedish professional basketball team Mark Basket Marbo Kinna.
